Organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry Leskovac and Agricultural Technical Services for Municipalities, a lecture on proper application of pesticides in plant production (coordinated with the Law on Food Safety) has been organized for fruit, vegetable and vineyard farmers.

Agricultural producers are familiar with the necessity of harmonizing the list of permitted pesticides in the Republic of Serbia with those allowed in the European Union and Russian Federation.

The lecturers were Gordana Jovanović and Ljubiša Milenković.

The lecture was organized due to the great interest of the farmers in introducing a pesticide that can be used in the production process, given the possibility of potential exports of agricultural products from the Jablanica region to outside of the Republic of Serbia.
