Works on rearranging channel “Bara” begun Print E-mail

Improving the sewer system in Leskovac - For sewage collector and rearrangement of the “Bara” channel, 95 million dinars have been set aside. The works have begun in Leskovac, and at the moment final work on the sewage collector is being done.

Saša Dragin, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, along with Zoran Mićović, the Director of the Veterinary Institute, visited the work site in Leskovac. On that occasion, Dragin said that the total value of works on the collector amount to 43 million dinars.

“Works on the incomplete collector, who provided water for fertile agricultural land, are financed by the Ministry of Agriculture with 70%, which is 30 million, while the rest provided by the city of Leskovac”, he said.

Rearrangement of “Bara” channel, which is used for flood protection, will be funded with 52 million dinars.

“Of these, 25.5 million dinars is provided by the Directorate for Water, 16.5 million dinars is secured by the Ministry of Agriculture, while the town of Leskovac set aside 10 million dinars”, Dragin added.

Dragin attended the opening of butcher’s shop, "MK", company engaged in production and processing of meat and meat products.
